We have already talked about DiSSCover, the DiSSCo service that provides curation and annotation functions on the Digital Specimen both for community experts and AI systems. A few weeks ago, Soulaine Theocharides, from DiSSCo’s technical team, brought DiSSCover to the Open Source Developer’s European Meeting, FOSDEM2026.
